Pakistan, Sept. 19 -- Iranian authorities say diplomatic efforts continue to resolve disputes and return to the Islamabad agreement. Interior Ministry spokesperson Ali Zeynivand made the remarks during a press briefing. He said international diplomatic mediation also remains underway. Iran expects the other side to meet its commitments under the agreement.

Zeynivand said the agreement received approval from Iran's Supreme National Security Council. He added that Iran's Supreme Leader also endorsed the agreement. Therefore, he described it as an official decision of the Iranian system. Tehran continues to seek a path back to the agreement.
