Pakistan, July 2 -- Indirect negotiations between Iran and the US are set to resume after the funeral of Iran's late Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to Qatari officials, who said the latest round of discussions in Doha produced positive progress.
Qatar, which has been facilitating dialogue between the two countries, said the talks focused on issues related to the existing memorandum of understanding and helped move negotiations forward. Officials added that the next round of discussions will take place after Khamenei's funeral ceremonies.
