Pakistan, Aug. 23 -- Investigators have revealed new details about Karachi youth Mir Raza's final 12 hours before his death. Officials said Raza spent the period seeking financial investment and loans. They also traced several meetings, calls and movements before his death. Authorities said they found no person with him at the location where they recovered his body.

According to investigators, Raza met Ahmed Raja on Shahrah-e-Faisal at 5:54pm on July 27. The two reportedly discussed an investment worth Rs70 to Rs80 million. A bank had earlier rejected Raza's loan application. Raza then applied for a loan through his sister. At 7:05pm, the bank informed him that it had approved a Rs10 million loan.
