Pakistan, June 2 -- The federal government has proposed a Rs16 billion development budget for the Ministry of Interior in FY2026-27, reflecting an increased allocation of Rs4.5 billion compared to the previous year. However, officials have confirmed that the entire budget will be used for ongoing schemes, with no new development projects included in the upcoming fiscal plan.
According to budget documents, the ministry will focus on completing 22 ongoing development projects across different sectors, including security, infrastructure, and public services.
