Pakistan, May 20 -- Barrister Salman Safdar, legal counsel for former prime minister Imran Khan, has reportedly developed an eye-related medical condition and requested relief from immediate court proceedings related to pending appeals.

During proceedings in Islamabad, Advocate Salman Akram Raja informed the court that Salman Safdar was suffering from an eye illness and required medical examination abroad. He requested additional time in connection with appeals challenging the refusal to hear applications seeking suspension of Imran Khan's sentences.
