Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- The Islamabad High Court has sought government responses on regulating social media access for children under 16. The court issued notices after a petition called for stronger online protections for minors. The case focuses on age verification and safeguards against digital risks.

IHC Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfaraz Dogar heard the petition on Monday. He directed several ministries and regulatory bodies to submit their responses within 15 days. The notices went to the ministries responsible for technology, information, interior and law.
