Islamabad, Sept. 2 -- The Islamabad High Court has overturned a 2022 ruling against Pakistan Naval Farms and the Naval Sailing Club. The court also cancelled the order to demolish the Naval Sailing Club building.

A division bench accepted petitions against the earlier judgment. Justice Inam Amin Minhas and Justice Shahrukh Arjumand heard the appeals. Former chief justice Athar Minallah had issued the earlier ruling in 2022.

The court also overturned proceedings against former Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi. The earlier judgment had ordered misconduct and criminal proceedings against him. Abbasi and other petitioners had challenged that decision.
