Pakistan, May 27 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Tuesday chaired a meeting at the Central Police Office to review the overall security situation in the province and arrangements for Eidul Azha.
According to a spokesperson for Punjab Police, regional police officers (RPOs), city police officers (CPOs), district police officers (DPOs) and other concerned officers participated in the meeting through video link and briefed the IGP on security measures taken in their respective areas.
IGP Abdul Kareem directed officials to place security arrangements on high alert at mosques, places of worship, cattle markets, commercial centres, important installations, embassies and other sensitive locations during Eid.
