Pakistan, April 14 -- The International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers' Associations has praised the professionalism of Pakistan's air traffic controllers during recent regional airspace disruptions. The recognition highlights their role in maintaining safe and efficient air navigation under increased pressure. The acknowledgment matters for global aviation safety and regional flight operations.
According to a letter from IFATCA Asia-Pacific Vice President Cheryl Chen, Pakistan managed significant air traffic increases in recent weeks. She said geopolitical developments led to diversions from neighbouring airspace. As a result, Pakistan's airspace handled higher volumes of non-scheduled flights.
