Pakistan, Aug. 11 -- Most parts of Pakistan are expected to remain hot and humid during the next 24 hours, according to the weather department.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department forecast rain with strong winds and thunderstorms at isolated locations in upper regions.

Northeastern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Islamabad and Potohar may receive rainfall during the forecast period.

The weather department said a low-pressure system is currently positioned over northeastern Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents are also entering upper parts of the country.
