Pakistan, Aug. 17 -- Heavy rain flooded several low-lying areas of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, disrupting daily life across both cities. Water levels in Nullah Lai reached 17 feet at Katarian, raising concerns about possible flooding. Authorities advised residents living near the water channel to remain alert. Meanwhile, several areas recorded significant rainfall during the latest spell.
