Pakistan, Aug. 5 -- Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called for the removal of restrictions on her Awami League party and said she plans to return to the country in December. Her remarks came two years after she left office following protests.

Hasina made the comments during a media interaction hosted by the Foreign Correspondents' Club of South Asia in New Delhi. It was her first major media engagement since her departure from Bangladesh.
