Pakistan, Sept. 24 -- Petroleum Minister Ali Pervez Malik has ordered action against fuel stations denying consumers relief under the Fuel Relief Scheme. He directed officials to ensure eligible consumers receive the promised benefit without disruption.

Malik chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review fuel supplies and implementation of the relief scheme. Officials discussed measures for maintaining uninterrupted availability of petroleum products across the country. The meeting also examined progress on payments to participating fuel stations.

Officials informed the meeting that payments had been completed for more than 8,500 fuel stations. The scheme covers around 10,000 petrol pumps across the country. The payment process remains part ...
