Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- The federal government increased the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs 5.27 per litre and petrol by Rs 3.34 per litre, effective Wednesday, August 19.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Tuesday revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products under the government's petroleum pricing mechanism.
The price of petrol was increased by Rs3.34 per litre, taking it from Rs 331.20 to Rs 334.54 per litre.
The price of HSD was raised by Rs5.27 per litre, from Rs 390.42 to Rs 395.69 per litre.
