Pakistan, Aug. 19 -- The federal government has asked the Supreme Court to review its order directing Imran Khan's transfer to Shifa International Hospital. The government filed the review petition on Wednesday, a day after the Supreme Court issued its interim order.

Islamabad Advocate General Naveed Hayat Malik filed the petition on behalf of the federal capital's chief commissioner. The petition described the court's order as "discriminatory" and argued that it exceeded the court's jurisdiction.
