Pakistan, Aug. 12 -- The government and the All Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance have reached an understanding on toll taxes and petroleum prices, sources said.

According to transporters, the government has agreed in principle not to increase toll taxes for one year. A partial reduction in the recent toll tax increase was also agreed.

Sources said both sides also agreed to keep petroleum product prices unchanged for one week or 15 days. The understanding came during negotiations between the government and transporters.
