Pakistan, June 8 -- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday said that concrete measures were being taken to promote tourism and sports in the province, adding that people from across the country were eagerly awaiting the launch of new flights ahead of the annual Shandur Festival.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Group Advisor of South Air, Sohail Ali Khan, at the Governor House. The South Air representative arrived in Peshawar to review arrangements for commencing the airline's flight operations from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
