Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- In his message on World Cleanup Day, Governor Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said that the day reminds everyone of their individual and collective responsibility towards cleanliness. He emphasized that a clean and healthy environment is a fundamental right of every citizen, for which the government as well as the public must fulfil their responsibilities effectively.

Governor Sindh stressed that cleanliness should be made a permanent part of daily life. He noted that responsible use and disposal of plastic and waste can help reduce environmental pollution. He further emphasized the need to raise awareness among the younger generation about cleanliness, environmental protection and responsible civic behaviour.
