Pakistan, Oct. 12 -- Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain (Retd) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai, has said that the imposition of Governor's Rule is a constitutional provision and should not be viewed as an unconstitutional measure, stressing that any debate on the matter must be conducted within the framework of the Constitution and law rather than political considerations.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the speaker said that where a provincial government fails to effectively discharge its responsibilities, the imposition of Governor's Rule may be considered in accordance with constitutional requirements.
