Pakistan, June 10 -- Pakistan has extended the closing time for standalone grocery and kiryana stores to 10pm under revised austerity measures. The decision aims to provide relief to consumers while maintaining fuel conservation policies. It affects small retailers and daily shoppers across the country.

The decision was taken by a committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The committee reviewed fuel conservation and austerity measures already in place since March. Moreover, it recommended extending the overall framework until June 30.
