Pakistan, June 13 -- The government has allocated an amount of Rs 88,000 million for various power sector projects under the Annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2026-27.

According to budget documents released on Friday, an amount of Rs 83,823.036 million has been earmarked for 45 ongoing schemes, while Rs 4,176.964 million has been allocated for three new projects.

Among the ongoing schemes, an amount of Rs 10,233.119 million allocated for Installation of Reactive Power Compensation devices (STATCOM) in NTDC Network ADB, WB & ISDB, Rs 5,828.513 million for Evacuation of power from 2160 MW DASU HPP Stage-I World Bank 9076-PK, Rs 5,113.510 for 500 KV HVDC Transmission System between Tajikistan and Pakistan for Central Asia-S...
