Pakistan, July 5 -- The federal government has rejected allegations that the proposed Pakistan Telecommunication (Amendment) Bill 2026 favors any private company or threatens citizens' property rights. Speaking at a joint press conference, Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar said the legislation remains under parliamentary review and has not yet become law, urging the public to avoid spreading unverified claims.
