Pakistan, Aug. 3 -- The All Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance has announced an indefinite nationwide strike starting on August 8, warning that transport operations will remain suspended until the government accepts its demands. The decision was announced during a press conference in Karachi, where alliance leaders said transport associations from across the country had unanimously agreed to launch the protest. They also demanded the resignation of Petroleum Minister Pervez Ali Malik.
