Pakistan, Aug. 21 -- The All Pakistan Goods Transporters Association has announced a major cut in fares following massive drop in prices of diesel.

All Pakistan Goods Transporters Association President Nabeel Mahmood Tariq on Thursday announced a 10 percent reduction in fares, while welcoming government's decision to slash the diesel prices by Rs32 per litre.

Nabeel Tariq remarked that the government's decision will certainly bring down rates for supplying the trading goods. This will also cut down difficulties being faced by the transport industry due to high fuel prices, he added. Nabeel Tariq urged the government to keep the diesel rate like this for one week.
