Pakistan, May 26 -- The prices of gold witnessed a sharp increase in the local market on Monday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 4,600 to settle at Rs 477,762 compared to Rs 473,162 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,943 to Rs 409,603 from Rs 405,660, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 3,615 to Rs 375,483 against Rs 371,868. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $46 to $4,554 per ounce from $4,508. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 236 to Rs 8,270, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 203 to Rs 7,090. The price of silver ...
