The per tola price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs400, reflecting reduced global demand and minor fluctuations in global bullion trading. Moreover, market analysts linked the decline to weakening international gold rates and changing investor sentiment.

According to market data from the bullion association, the new price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan settled at Rs493,662 per tola after the decrease.
