Pakistan, Oct. 1 -- The prices of gold witnessed an increase in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs 4,300 to settle at Rs 441,636, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 3,686 to Rs 378,631, whereas 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs 3,379 to Rs 347,091. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $43 to $4,191 per ounce, the association reported. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs20 to Rs6,578, while the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 17 to Rs 5,639.
