Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- The prices of gold witnessed an upward trend in the local market on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola increasing by Rs600 to close at Rs435,036, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs515 to settle at Rs372,973, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also rose by Rs472, closing at Rs341,904. In the international market, the bullion price showed an upward trend, increasing by $6 to reach $4,125 per ounce, the association reported.
