Pakistan, June 3 -- The prices of gold registered a sharp increase in the local market on Tuesday, with 24 karat gold per tola gaining Rs 4,600 to settle at Rs 476,362 compared to Rs 471,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,944 to Rs 408,403 from Rs 404,459, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold rose by Rs 3,616 to Rs 374,383 against Rs 370,767. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $46 to $4,540 per ounce from $4,494.
