Pakistan, April 17 -- The prices of gold increased in the local market on Thursday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 1,400 to settle at Rs 504,862 compared to Rs 503,462 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 1,200 to Rs 432,837 from Rs 431,637, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 1,100 to Rs 396,781 against Rs 395,681. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $14 to $4,825 per ounce from $4,811.
