Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Gold prices fell sharply in Pakistan, with 24-karat gold losing Rs4,300 per tola. The latest decline brought the price down to Rs436,336 per tola, according to market data. The drop came a day after gold prices had already fallen in the local market.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also decreased by Rs3,687. It reached Rs374,087 following the latest decline. Meanwhile, silver prices also moved lower during trading in Pakistan.

One tola of silver became Rs56 cheaper, bringing its price to Rs6,522. The decline in precious metals followed weaker international market rates. Local bullion prices generally respond to changes in global gold prices and other market factors.
