Pakistan, May 9 -- The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 2,700 to settle at Rs 494,062 compared to Rs 496,762 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold declined by Rs 2,315 to Rs 423,578 from Rs 425,893, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 2,123 to Rs 388,293 against Rs 390,416. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $27 to $4,717 per ounce from $4,744. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 80 to Rs 8,525 from Rs 8,445, while the price of 10 grams of silver also rose by Rs 68 to Rs 7,308 from Rs 7,240. T...
