Pakistan, April 23 -- The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Wednesday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 1,200 to settle at Rs 498,962 compared to Rs 500,162 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 1,029 to Rs 427,779 from Rs 428,808, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 943 to Rs 392,145 against Rs 393,088. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $12 to $4,766 per ounce from $4,778.
