Pakistan, Oct. 8 -- Gold prices in Pakistan increased by Rs600 per tola on Thursday, following gains in the international market. The latest rise pushed the local gold price to Rs435,036 per tola.

According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold prices also increased for 10 grams. The price reached Rs372,973 after gaining Rs515 during the day.

The latest movement came a day after gold prices recorded a significant decline. On Wednesday, the price of gold had fallen by Rs3,100 per tola. It closed at Rs434,436 following the previous day's decline.
