Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, with the price per tola rising by Rs400 during the day. The latest increase followed a rise in international gold prices.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, gold reached Rs457,136 per tola in the local market. The latest rate showed a modest increase from the previous session

The price of 10-gram gold also moved higher during the day. It reached Rs391,920 after gaining Rs343, according to rates shared by the association.

Gold prices had recorded a sharp decline in the previous session. On Friday, the price per tola fell by Rs5,600 and reached Rs456,736 in the local market.
