Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Monday, following gains in the international market. The price of gold reached Rs487,136 per tola after increasing by Rs4,200. The latest rise pushed local gold prices higher during the session.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 10-gram gold also became more expensive. Its price reached Rs417,640 after rising by Rs3,601. The association provided the latest rates for the local market.
Gold had also recorded a significant increase during the previous trading session. On Saturday, the price rose by Rs5,700 per tola. It reached Rs482,936 after the earlier increase.
