Pakistan, Sept. 4 -- Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply on Friday, following gains in the international market. The price of gold per tola reached Rs469,136 after rising Rs3,900.

The latest rates came from the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association. The association reported higher prices for both gold and silver during Friday's trading.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased during the day. It reached Rs402,208 after gaining Rs3,344, according to the latest market rates.

Gold had already posted a strong increase on Thursday. The price per tola reached Rs465,236 after gaining Rs11,200 during that session.
