Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, following a decline in international gold rates. The local price dropped Rs1,800 per tola to reach Rs455,736. The decline also affected the price of 10-gram gold and silver in the local market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, 10-gram gold fell Rs1,543. Its price reached Rs390,720 after Tuesday's decline. The latest movement followed another decrease recorded in the domestic market on Monday.

Gold had fallen Rs2,700 per tola on Monday, bringing its price to Rs457,536. Tuesday's decline extended the recent downward movement in local gold prices. The latest figures reflected changes in the international gold market.
