Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- The price of gold in the country witnessed a downward trend on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold declining by Rs3,500 per tola to Rs460,436, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 24-karat gold of 10 grams decreased by Rs3,001 to Rs394,749, while the price of 22-karat gold of 10 grams fell by Rs2,751 to Rs361,866. In the international market, gold was quoted at $4,380 per ounce, showing a decline of $35. Meanwhile, the price of silver also witnessed a decrease, with 24-karat silver falling by Rs175 per tola to Rs6,936. The price of 24-karat silver for 10 grams decreased by Rs150 to Rs5,946, while international silver was quoted at $64.57 per ounce, down by $1.75. The ...
