Pakistan, July 8 -- Gold prices in Pakistan extended their downward trend for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday, with the price of one tola falling by Rs4,700. The decline followed another drop in international bullion prices, reflecting weaker global demand and shifting investor sentiment. The continued fall affects jewellers, investors, and consumers tracking precious metal prices.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs430,236 in the local market. The price of 10 grams of gold also declined by Rs4,029 to Rs368,858. In the international bullion market, gold prices fell by $47 per ounce, settling at $4,078 per ounce.
