Pakistan, July 8 -- An international law enforcement operation has resulted in the arrest of 24 individuals allegedly linked to India based organised crime groups accused of involvement in murder, extortion, drug trafficking and other serious offences across multiple countries.

According to US officials, the coordinated operation involved investigative agencies from the United States, Canada and several European countries. Authorities said the investigation targeted transnational criminal networks allegedly engaged in racketeering, targeted killings, kidnappings, weapons trafficking, drug smuggling and other organised criminal activities.
