Pakistan, July 13 -- Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to strengthen cooperation in technology and investment, as the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) continues to support efforts to attract foreign investment and expand bilateral economic partnerships.

Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja met Bahrain's Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, in Geneva to discuss ways to deepen cooperation in key economic and technology sectors.

During the meeting, Pakistan invited Bahrain to invest in information technology, food security, tourism and other priority sectors.
