Pakistan, June 15 -- The genealogy of Kharjiyat has made it crystal clear that it is the ultimate menace. While its historical grammar is transnational, its contemporary manifestation has been heavily localised within the Pakistan-Afghanistan theatre. Over the past two decades, transnational militant currents mutated into highly violent domestic entities, primarily through the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP). These groups operationalised classical Kharji ideas to wage a brutal war against the state and people of Pakistan.
