Pakistan, June 29 -- The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has launched its first-ever summer internship programme, opening more than 100 on-campus training slots for undergraduate students nationwide.

The move makes GCU the first public sector university in Pakistan to offer a large-scale institutional internship framework for BS students.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry stated that the initiative is designed to integrate talented youth directly into the university's governance, research, and administrative operations.

He emphasised that the program sets a new benchmark in higher education by developing competent and practical leaders for Pakistan's future.
