Pakistan, July 6 -- Five Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the past 24 hours, raising Gaza's death toll to 73,098, according to the Health Ministry. The ministry said the latest casualties included three newly killed people and two bodies recovered from the rubble. The updated figures highlight the continuing humanitarian crisis despite a ceasefire that began in October 2025.

The Health Ministry said hospitals across Gaza also received seven injured people during the same period. The total number of people injured since the war began in October 2023 has reached 173,571. Officials added that many victims remain trapped beneath collapsed buildings and on roads inaccessible to rescue teams.
