Pakistan, Aug. 24 -- Chairman Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation and Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the fully rehabilitated Garden Water Pumping Station. Chief Operating Officer of the Water and Sewerage Corporation Asadullah Khan, Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentary Leader in the City Council Karamullah Waqasi, City Council members and others were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that the Garden Pumping Station was installed in 2005; however, its machinery could not be made operational due to the unavailability of an electricity connection from K-Electric.
