Pakistan, April 25 -- At least three people were killed in renewed ethnic clashes in India's northeastern state of Manipur, highlighting ongoing instability in the region. Police confirmed that the fatalities occurred during an exchange of gunfire between rival groups in Mullam village in Ukhrul district late Friday.

According to authorities, the victims died from bullet injuries sustained during intense fighting.
