DUBAI, Sept. 1 -- Fresh US and Iranian strikes have ended a fragile lull and raised fears of renewed conflict. Iran fired missiles at two US bases in Jordan overnight. Tehran said the attack followed a US strike on Larak Island. Washington said its forces targeted Iranian launchers near the Strait of Hormuz.
