COPENHAGEN, June 2 -- Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is set to form a new centre-left minority coalition government after months of negotiations following Denmark inconclusive general election in March.

Frederiksen, leader of the Social Democratic Party, confirmed the agreement after meeting King Frederik X. She described the coalition talks as lengthy and challenging and said the new cabinet would be presented on Wednesday.

The coalition will include the Social Democrats, the Socialist People's Party, the centre-left Radikale Venstre and the centrist Moderates.
