Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- France experienced its hottest July since weather records began in 1900, according to the country's national weather service. The month surpassed previous temperature records set during the severe heatwaves of August 2003 and July 2006. Moreover, July also ranked as France's third driest on record, highlighting the growing impact of extreme weather across the country.
According to Meteo-France, rainfall during July was nearly 70 percent below the seasonal average, leaving soil extremely dry and significantly increasing the risk of wildfires. Furthermore, prolonged dry conditions and repeated heatwaves have placed additional pressure on water resources, agriculture, and ecosystems across many parts of France.
